Description

Sets out a method for selecting appropriate containers for sampling water bodies for microbiological analysis. Information includes container washing and sterilization procedures necessary to minimize contamination. This Standard does not include sample containers for viral analysis. The Standard is a revision of AS 2031.2-1977 but includes more up-to-date information and allows the use of sterile disposable containers.
