Description

Applies to reversible, thermoplastic, agar type of hydrocolloidal impression material. It does not cover agar duplicating materials used to reproduce dental models; these are specified in AS 1097. It specifies impression taking ability, behaviour on heating, temperature of gel formation, ability to record surface detail, mechanical properties, packaging and marking.
