Description

This code applies to pipeline milking machines and their installation. It prescribes requirements for components, minimum performance criteria for the cacuum and pulsation systems, together with other requirements concerning design, construction, installation and testing. Recommendations concerning the selection of the correct type and sixe of milking machine are given in Appendix A. Typical installatiions are illustrated diagrammatically in Figs 2 to 4. The code does not deal with milk coolers, separators or bulk milk tanks.
