Specifies standard grade flooring; select and standard grade lining; standard grade preservative-treated cladding; clear grade mouldings; clear, standard and utility grades joinery timber; clear grade preservative-treated fascia boards and barge boards. Tolerances are given. A dimensioned profile is given for flooring, but for lining and cladding only critical dimensions are specified in order to allow freedom of choice of the face contour. Appendices set out recommended practice for plugging knot and cone holes and for finger-jointing boards.
